Express felled by Titans 125-121

The Windsor Express are riding a five-game losing streak after falling 125-121 to the KW Titans on Friday.

The Titans took a 31-23 advantage in the first quarter and remained ahead 57-52 as the game entered halftime. The Express were able to tie the game early in the third, but Kitchener-Waterloo regained an 88-84 lead by the end of the frame.  Another back-and-forth quarter saw Windsor take a four-point lead with 8:31 left in the game, but the Titans battled back again to win with a narrow advantage.

Horace Wormely scored a game-high 31 points and had seven assists. Ryan Anderson added another 28 points and nine assists, while Tyrrel Tate put up 19 points and two rebounds.

The Express are at home again on Sunday to battle the Moncton Magic at 2 p.m.
