Foursome sought in Windsor robbery

Windsor police are looking for four people in connection with a weekend convenience store robbery.

It happened Saturday night on Rivard Avenue near Tecumseh Road East.

Officers arrived at the store around 9:15 p.m. where they heard that four men had entered the establishment and one of them demanded money from the clerk. No money was taken.

Constable Talya Natyshak said a second male began taking items and damaging store displays while the remaining two suspects took cigarettes and other items.

The Forensic Identification Unit processed the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police described the first suspect as between 20 and 25 years old, tall with a medium build. He wore a black jacket with a hoodie worn over his face. The second suspect is a similar age but with a muscular build. He was wearing a scarf over his face.

The third and fourth suspects are males 19 or 20 years of age, both with medium builds.
