Police in Windsor dealing with a rash of robberies

Windsor police are investigating another convenience store robbery.

This one is the third convenience store robbery in the city since Friday night. The other two took place at convenience stores on Parent Avenue near South Pacific Avenue and on Drouillard Road and Milloy Street.

The latest robbery happened at a Tecumseh Road convenience store near Lincoln Road on Monday just after midnight. Investigators said a man entered the store dressed in black clothing, including a mask concealing his face. The suspect approached the front counter, ordered the clerk to put his hands up, and indicated that he had a weapon, although no weapon was seen. Some cash was taken before the suspect ran away. Nobody was hurt.

The male suspect is described as white, approximately 5'8" tall, and was wearing a black jacket, a black hood, a black face mask, black gloves, black pants and black boots. His photo can be seen above.
