Express top Highlanders 108-104
The Windsor Express outplayed the Cape Breton Highlanders 108-104 in NBL Canada action on Wednesday.
The Express held a 25-21 lead over the Highlanders at the end of the first quarter, but Cape Breton was able to inch ahead in the second to gain a 46-44 advantage heading into halftime.
Windsor regained their lead in the third and held a 79-72 advantage at the end of the third. While the Highlanders were able to keep it close it the fourth frame, the Express were able to win with a four-point advantage.
Ryan Anderson scored a game-high 34 points for Windsor and had six rebounds. Tyrrel Tate also put up 17 points and had three rebounds, while Juan Pattillo added another 16 points and 13 rebounds.
The Express are at home again on Friday to take on the St. John Riptide at 7 p.m.
