Cole Purboo helped lift the Windsor Spitfires to a 5-2 victory over the Guelph Storm at the Sleeman Centre on Friday.
The Storm took an early lead with a goal early in the first, but Purboo tied things up with a goal after 9:55. Guelph scored their second of the game with under five minutes left in the frame, but again the Spitfires tied the game thanks to a goal by Will Cuylle at 16:10.
Jordan Frasca scored the only goal of the second period to give Windsor a 3-2 lead, and Purboo scored another two answered goals in the third to complete a hat-trick and ensure the win for Windsor.
The Spitfires outshot the Storm 39-28, with goaltender Incze, Colton making 26 saves for Windsor.
The Spitfires return home on Sunday to take on the Kitchener Rangers at 2:05 p.m.
