Two Windsor stabbings lead to several weapons and drug charges

Two Windsor men have been charged after a pair of stabbings over the weekend.

On Friday at around6:15 p.m., a man was stabbed outside the Beer Store on Goyeau Street and Elliott Street. A male suspect was arrested near Ouellette Avenue and Wyandotte Street minutes later.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Brandon Nunn, 27, of Windsor, is now charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, possession of suspected fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of suspected methamphetamine. Police said the weapon, believed to be a knife, has not been recovered.

Then on Saturday at approximately 6 p.m., William Bullet, 45, of Windsor was arrested at a home near Caron Avenue and Wyandotte Street after officers followed a small trail of blood along a sidewalk. Investigators said an adult male allegedly had blood on his clothing, appeared out of breath and showed signs indicating that he had been involved in a recent altercation.

An adult male victim was found just up the road on Caron Avenue and was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Police said both men know each other.

Bullet is now charged with one count of assault with a weapon.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.
