Firefighters were called to a home near the intersection of Westminster Boulevard and Raymond Avenue around 12 a.m. Saturday morning to respond to reports of a fire.
Windsor Fire and Rescue Services said they found heavy fire and smoke when they arrived at the scene.
The blaze was put out around 1 a.m. and o injuries were reported. Officials said the fire started in the furnace area of the basement. The cause is under investigation.
