Two down, one to go in Leamington break & enter this summer

Provincial police have arrested a second suspect after an early morning break-in in Leamington August 6 but a third remains at large.

The OPP said three men carrying weapons forced their way into a home on Oak Street near Pickwick Drive around 5:30 a.m. when a man answered the door. A female in the home was injured when she attempted to get out through a window.

Police said two of the suspects were wearing disguises but the third suspect was not disguised and is believed to know the victims. The OPP believes this is an isolated incident but is investigating the possibly that the alleged crime is related to a disturbance a few hours earlier outside a Talbot Street West business in Leamington.

Elias Chavira-Gonzalez, 29, of Kingsville was arrested October 30. Edis Rodriguez-Flores, 32, of Leamington was arrested August 20. Both men are charged with various offences, including break and enter and robbery using a firearm.

Police still need help catching the third suspect.
