A Michigan man has been kicked out of Canada after the Ontario Provincial Police arrested him during a traffic stop.
Back on October 15, officers were looking for distracted drivers on Tecumseh Road in Tecumseh, when they pulled over a vehicle.
In addition to driving distractedly, police say the man behind the wheel initially gave the officer a false name.
When police figured out the man's real identity, they realized he was in the country illegally.
A 58-year-old was arrested and charged with three Highway Traffic Act of Ontario offences. He was taken into custody by officials from Canada Border Services Agency and returned to the U.S.
