Drug bust on Drouillard Road in Windsor

Police in Windsor has charged a 40-year-old man after they spotted a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot on Drouillard Road.

What caught their eye around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday night was that a woman was seen looking into the vehicle parked near Reginald Street.

When officers approached, they saw a man in the vehicle try to get rid of plastic baggies.

During the arrest, police found 21.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and another 1.4 grams of what they think is fentanyl powder. The officers also seized $350 and a cell phone.

David Meadows faces two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
