Three Suspects Sought In Knifepoint Robbery

Windsor police are looking for three suspects in an overnight robbery.

It happened in the area of MacDougall St. and Erie St. E shortly after 1am Thursday. Police say the male victim was riding his bicycle on MacDougall when he was approached by two males and a female. One of the suspects asked the victim for the time.

Constable Andy Drouillard says when the victim pulled out his cell phone to check the time one of the male suspects tried to grab it out of his hand. The victim pulled back, but the other male in the group threatened the victim with a knife and demanded the phone.

The suspects were last seen walking west on Erie St. E, away from MacDougall, police say. The victim was not hurt.

One male suspect is described as black and in his early 20s. He is tall and was wearing a yellow hoodie sweatshirt and sunglasses. He was riding a bicycle.

The second male suspect is tall, with olive skin and in his early 20s. He was wearing a t-shirt. The female suspect is black, with dark hair and in her early 20s. The latter two suspects were on foot.
