Three Suspects Sought In Leamington Home Invasion

Police are asking the public for help after a Leamington home was broken into Monday.

Ontario Provincial Police say it happened around 5:20am at a home on Oak St. W. near Nicholas St. The male homeowner answered the front door and three people carrying weapons pushed their way inside. Two of the suspects were wearing masks. The third was not and police say he is known to the victims.

A woman in the house tried to flee out a window and injured herself in the process.

All three suspects ran from the home and are still on the loose, according to OPP Constable Jim Root. It was not made known what may have been taken from the house.

Police believe this is an isolated incident, but it may be related to a disturbance that happened a few hours earlier outside a business on Talbot St. W.

No additional information has been released.

Anyone who may have information is asked to call the OPP Major Crimes Unit at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can be submitted by phone to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online.
