Prepare to expect the unexpected this weekend at Amherstburg's first ever Uncommon Festival.
The all-ages, three-day event in the historic downtown area will feature the wonders of magic, wizardry, invention, and Victorian steampunk.
The festival will have live performances, escape rooms, historical re-enactments.
For Harry Potter fans, the festival will also give those who go a chance to sample butterbeer, play a game of Quidditch, and visit the Park's House of Potions and Wizardry.
There is also a daily costume contest.
Only three events require money to visit: The Top-Hat Embellishment and Fascinating Fascinators Workshops, the Ghost Walks, and the Dr. Von Houligan Carnival of Calamities Show.
This event opens at 11am on Saturday and Sunday and ends each night after the fireworks display at 10pm.
