No Impaired Drivers In Windsor RIDE Program

Windsor police had no need to arrest any drivers Friday night.

Police conducted two RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) programs at two locations in the city late Friday night and early Saturday morning. One location was on the University of Windsor campus, according to the photo provided by the WPS' Twitter account.

According to the figures released by police Saturday, no impaired drivers were arrested in the two RIDE checks.

Officers interviewed a total of 424 drivers.

They issued three Highway Traffic Act citations and conducted only two roadside sobriety tests.
