Windsor Police Dealing With Robberies

A 42-year-old Windsor man has been charged with robbery.

Police say officers were called to a pharmacy on Wyandotte St. just west of Ouellette Ave. Wednesday afternoon after someone entered the business wearing a facemask and demanded narcotics and cash while keeping one hand inside a pocket. Investigators say the suspect was given a small amount of narcotics and fled on foot.

Nobody was hurt.

A suspect was arrested Friday afternoon.

Windsor police are also still searching for a male suspect after an armed robbery Friday night.

Police say it happened at a convenience store on Erie St. near Goyeau St. on Friday around 7:30pm.

It's unclear what type of weapon was used.

Nobody was hurt.
