Can't Beat A Report Card Like This One

Cameron Repmann plans to volunteer, play some video games and read this summer after scoring 100% in all seven of his Grade 12 courses.

Repmann did not try to boost his average with any fluff courses either. The Riverside Secondary School graduate scored the highest mark possible in data management, advanced functions, chemistry, physics, calculus invectors, technological design, and finally, world history this past school year.

To put it simply, he really likes math.

"I enjoy finding new solutions... finding new ways to solve things," Repmann says. "I remember when I needed to trade in my pacifier, and my mom asked me what I wanted, and I asked for a calculator."

When he is not solving complex math problems that would confuse most people, he enjoys volunteering at the Scottish Club and Eastwood Public School, reading the Divergent Series by Veronica Roth which is about another exceptional teenager, and playing video games.

Repmann is no stranger to academic excellence. Over the course of his four years at Riverside, he finished 18 credits with a perfect score. His lowest score during his high school career was 94%, in French.

In the fall, he plans to earn a degree in Math and Statistics before getting his Masters in Actuary Science at the University of Waterloo, and one day becoming an actuary.

Just in case you do not know, an actuary manages risk and can make six-figures annually.
