Three Local Beaches Not Recommended For Swimming

All nine beaches across Windsor-Essex are open for swimming this week but there are a few cautions.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says swimming is not recommended at Mettawas Beach, Holiday Beach, and Cedar Island Beach.

The health unit warns about unsafe swimming when the levels of bacteria get too high.

Officials say swimming at Mettawas Beach, Holiday Beach, and Cedar Island Beach may pose a risk to your health.
