A Million For A Tecumseh Couple

A Tecumseh couple is a million dollars richer.

Michael and Rosalie Hebert are winners of a $1-million Ontario Lottery and Gaming prize. The win was confirmed via a press release from the OLG Thursday.

The couple claimed their prize this week at the OLG's Prize Centre in Toronto.

The $1-million prize was won in the Lotto MaxMillions drawing on May 25.

The Heberts bought the winning ticket at the Shell station on Ontario St. in Port Hope, according to the release.

OLG says Lotto Max players have won over $4.2-billion in prizes since its launch in the fall of 2009. These include 57 jackpot wins, and 447 MaxMillions wins province-wide.

For each $5 play, Lotto Max players receive three sets of seven numbers ranging from one to 49. Players must match all seven numbers, in any one set, to win the jackpot or the MaxMillions prizes.

The OLG is still looking for the winner of a $1-million MaxMillions prize in Windsor from the June 8 drawing.
