There is no questioning Boba Fett's iconic status as a fan favourite in the Star Wars series, and he is coming to Windsor ComiCon this September.
Actor, stunt performer, coordinator, and producer Dicky Beer will meet with fans during the event September 29 and 30 at Caesars Windsor.
Beer may be best known for this role as the bounty hunter who transported a frozen Hans Solo to Jabba the Hutt in Star Wars, the Empire Strikes Back, but did you know the actor had several roles in the movies?
Beer also stood in Mark Hamil as Luke Skywalker in some action scenes and portrayed Barada, Sergeant Junkin, a Stormtrooper, a Gamorrean Guard, and a Biker Scout.
Beyond Star Wars, Beer also appeared in Superman III, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, Rambo III, Total Recall (1990), Dune (1984), Starship Troopers, Terminator 3, and xXx Return of Xander Cage.
So far, Windsor ComiCon has signed Tony Todd for appearances. Fans of Star Trek will recognize him for his role playing Klingon, "Kurn". Todd also played the killer Michael Myers in the Halloween franchise and Sabretooth in the X-Men. His successful television career includes credits on Boston Public and CSI Miami.
Comic book artists Larry Hama, Alex Milne, Scott Hanna, and Michael Cho will be featured, along with voice actor, Cal Dodd who was the original voice of Wolverine in the animated X-Men series, and Blue Power Ranger David Yost.
