Police Use DNA To Make B&E Arrest

Windsor police used DNA evidence to help catch a suspect in a break and enter investigation.

On January 19, 2018, a resident on Elm Ave. returned home to find damage to their side and back door. The Windsor Police Service Forensic Identification Unit attended the scene and retrieved a DNA sample.

A match was identified and police located a suspect. He was arrested on Wednesday in the area of Crawford Ave. and University Ave.

The 35-year-old Windsor man is charged with a break and enter attempt.
