Express Tame River Lions 120-107

A big second half led to a 120-107 win by the Windsor Express over the Niagara River Lions Saturday night at the WFCU Centre.

The Express, who have already clinched a playoff berth, improve their record to 17-15.

Starters Omar Strong and Damontre Harris, along with reserve Braylon Rayson, all led the Express on offence with 21 points. Harris also led Windsor on defence with nine rebounds, along with Kevin Loiselle.

Devonta Pollard led the River Lions with 19 points. Jaylon Tate added 15 points, while Guillaume Boucard and Kris Joseph put in 14 apiece.

Niagara began the first quarter leading 32-27, though Windsor closed the gap and trailed the River Lions only by one at halftime. The Express pulled away in the third quarter and held on to complete the contest.

The Express now have a layoff and hit the hardwood again on Tuesday, March 14 when the Island Storm visit the WFCU Centre.
