A severe thunderstorm watch has ended for the Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex areas.
Environment Canada issued the watch Thursday morning, with forecasters predicting favourable conditions for the development of thunderstorms.
The weather agency said torrential downpours were a possibility, with up to 50 mm of rain per hour in some areas. Strong winds and hail were also possible.
The watch was lifted at around 6pm.
