Charges Piling Up Against Former Fire Chief

The number of sexual assault allegations against former Kingsville Fire Chief Robert Kissner continues to grow.

The Ontario Provincial Police major crime unit is laying more sexual exploitation and sexual assault charges after an investigation which started last December.

Police officials believe these offences stem from an incident which dates back to 2015, when the victim was 16 years old.

Kissner now faces a total of 11 counts of sexual assault, five counts of sexual exploitation, and one count of sexual interference.

Investigators are still looking to speak with anyone who may have information regarding the incident which has led to these new charges.

The OPP Essex County Major Crime Unit can be reached at (519) 723-2491, or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
