Volunteers are needed to help wash strawberries for the upcoming Strawberry Festival in LaSalle.
The festival has ordered 300 flats or roughly 3,600 lbs of strawberries that need washing.
Volunteers are asked to go to the LaSalle Fire Service at 1900 Normandy St., this Wednesday, June 7 at 6pm. Registration is not required.
The actual festival is June 8-11 at Gil Maure Park.
