Knife Pulled On Senior Citizen During Robbery

Windsor police are investigating after a man pulled a knife on a senior citizen while trying to steal her purse.

Police say on Sunday around 6pm, a 68-year-old woman was walking north through an alley in the area of Wyandotte St. E between Parent and Langlois, when a man grabbed her purse.  The woman struggled with the thief, but he pulled a knife and was able to make off with the purse. He was last seen running east through a nearby parking lot.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, with a skinny build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat and a dark puffy coat.
