Future of Central Library Survey

The Windsor Public Library is looking for public input on plans for the downtown library branch.

The Central Branch at 850 Ouellette Ave. has been at that location for the last forty years and the library is going through this process to see how to best 'right size' the facility.

CEO Kitty Pope says they want to hear from the public about how they want to use their library.

"The board wanted to step back and really talk to the experts about this library, and of course the experts on the library are the folks that use this library," says Pope.

The survey will be available for the next six weeks on the Windsor Public Library website. It will be part of a report being completed by a library planning consultant that will go to the board in November 2017. The consultants will also be gathering community and stakeholder opinion in a series of meetings and discussion groups.
