One Person Hospitalized After Being Burned By Pizza Oven
One person has been taken to hospital after suffering burns to the face, shoulder and arm at an Amherstburg pizza parlour.
The Amherstburg Fire Department reported on Monday at around 5:40pm, that one male was burned after an “issue with pizza oven” at Capri Pizza at 503 Sandwich St. S.
The person was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Fire officials say the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority will be attending the business on Tuesday to conduct an investigation.
