A tentative agreement has been reached between the Greater Essex County District School Board and its custodial and maintenance staff.
The tentative agreement was reached with CUPE Local 27 through an extended round of negotiations and with the facilitation of the Ministry of Education.
The union represents 265 current employees with the public school board.
The deal needs to be ratified by both school trustees and union members.
