There’s a big event coming to Windsor next weekend for hockey fans.

The Rogers Hometown Hockey travelling road show will be at the Festival Plaza on the Detroit River November 19 and 20.

The event starts next Saturday at noon and goes to 6pm, while on Sunday, the event continues until 10pm. There will be live coverage on Rogers from 6pm Sunday until the event wraps up.

The Windsor Minor Hockey league hopes all local minor hockey associations will make it out.

The event features interactive games, exhibits from the Hockey Hall of Fame, food and a canned food drive for the Downtown Mission.

Retired NHL and Team Canada Gold Medal winner Ed Jovanovski will also be there.
