City Flood Garbage Collection Update

Flood damage garbage pickup continues in the City of Windsor.

The areas of Fountaine Bleu and Riverside between Westminister Blvd. and Riverdale Ave. still need to be completed.

Crews have completed calls for pickup west of Walker Rd.

East of Walker Rd. crews have completed pickup in Forest Glade, along with streets from the eastern city limits west to Riverdale and north of Tecumseh Rd. All of Little River Acres material has been removed, as well as from streets between Pillette Rd. and Walker Rd., and Grand Marais Rd. to Riverside Dr. E.

Crews will only return to completed areas after every street has been passed through once. The city is also following the collections with a street sweeper.

Free drop off at the Central Depot ends today, Wednesday, October 12, at 5pm.

Due to the amount of pickup material, all other service request responses will be delayed by up to two days, until the flood clean up is complete.
