Lakeshore Schedules Extra Flood Debris Pickup

Residents in the Town of Lakeshore who still have flood debris for pickup can put it on the curb Saturday morning.

That's the area from Renaud Ln. west to Manning Rd. and from County Rd. 42 north to Lake St. Clair.

The town is reminding homeowners to call their insurance company before they remove anything from their home.

White items, like refrigerators, and electronics, like televisions, computers and radios won't be picked up. Electronics can be taken to the Transfer Station at EC Row and Central Ave., while residents can call Windsor Disposal Services to arrange for pickup for freezers and refrigerators.

Yard waste pickup for those in areas 2 and 3 has been cancelled, but will resume on the next regular date, October 22.
