A Windsor man wanted in connection to a string of "vicious and cowardly" home invasions in the GTA has been arrested.
Rashid Ahmad surrendered himself to Peel Regional Police on Monday.
The 25-year-old has been charged with robbery, using an imitation firearm while committing and offence and disguise with intent.
Police say the suspects allegedly used handguns, duct tape, zip ties and a taser to assault the victims in some cases, which include children and the elderly.
The investigation started after a series of home invasions and jewelry store robberies between October 2014 and December 2015. Two suspects have already been arrested.
Project Blue Rock, as it's known, involved a number of police agencies and different units. Six full-time investigators were dedicated to tracking down the suspects.
