DNA evidence helped Windsor police track down a man wanted for breaking into a pharmacy.
Police were called to the 100-block of Park St. for a break-and-enter. The pharmacy's front door window was smashed and investigators say the suspect left with some property.
Windsor police sent DNA to the Centre of Forensic Science for testing. A few months later on July 5 the results came back with a hit on one Windsor man.
The next day at around 9:15am police found the suspect in the 600-block of Victoria, where he was arrested.
A 32-year-old Windsor man is charged with break and enter, theft and breach of probation.
