What's Open And Closed Canada Day

All government offices are closed, there's no mail delivery and no garbage or recycling pickup Friday because it's a statutory holiday.

That means garbage pickup will be delayed by one day next week. Residential recycling collection in the 4B area of Windsor is also delayed one day.

All Beer Store and LCBO locations are closed for the holiday.

The 311 Call Centre is closed and won't reopen until Monday, but the 211 Call Centre is open.

Community centres and customer care centres are closed but are open for previously scheduled rentals.

Weather permitting, public pools are open between 1:30pm and 5pm. Sandpoint Beach is also open from 1pm to 7pm, and Adventure Bay is open from 10am to 8pm.

All Windsor Public Library branches are closed Friday, but regular hours resume on Saturday.

Transit Windsor will also operate on a holiday schedule. The Tunnel Bus operates on its regular weekday schedule.
