Windsor-Essex's first craft distillery since Prohibition is looking for about 30 workers at a job fair.
Wolfhead Distillery hopes to open its doors May 27, producing flavoured whiskies and vodkas.
"We have a kitchen here, so we need cooks and dishwashers," she says. "We need servers, for the store itself, and we've got production people that we'll need for the bottling."
She says some positions in production require forklift experience.
Wettlaufer says it's a growing industry in Ontario.
"Wineries were the up and coming thing, and then it progressed to the micro-breweries. Now, it's the distillers' time," says Wettlaufer. "There's probably 13 to 15 with another handful planning to open this year."
The job fair is at 7781 Howard Ave. in Amherstburg, and it runs from 10am to 2pm Saturday.
