One person has been taken to hospital after a gas leak caused a fire in the Town of Essex.
Essex Fire and Rescue reported on Wednesday around 6:30pm, that fire crews from two stations responded to the fire and gas leak at a house on Thomas St. near Bell Ave.
Fire officials say one person has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Damage is estimated at around $15,000.
