Windsor police now say a 26-year-old man is dead after a crash involving two motorcycles early Wednesday morning.
A citizen called police about the crash in the area of University Ave. W and Sandwich St. around 4:20am. Three people were rushed to the hospital after a black Harley Davidson and a white Honda CBR travelling eastbound collided.
Police say the man on the Harley Davidson was pronounced dead at the hospital. A 28-year-old man riding the Honda CBR suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. His 28-year-old female passenger sustained minor injuries. Police have not released the victims' names.
University Ave. W and Sandwich St. were closed between Huron Church Rd. and Detroit St. while the accident reconstruction team continued its investigation, but the roadways have since been re-opened.
