New Job For Windsor Fire’s Lee Tome

You may not realize it, but if you follow Windsor Fire and Rescue on Twitter, you’re already acquainted with Lee Tome.
The city’s Chief Fire Prevention Officer has a new job with the Amherstburg Fire Service. Starting Monday, he’ll be the new assistant deputy fire chief/fire prevention and inspections officer.
Fire Chief Al Reaume says Tome’s experience on social media was a bonus, and he expects it to affect positively operations in Amherstburg.
Tome worked for Windsor’s fire department for 32 years, but spent the past four months working the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal as a fire protection advisor.
