The Walkerville Night Market is opening its first season in Kingsville.
The popular monthly event which saw 4,700 attendees two weeks ago in Windsor, is setting up in the parking lot behind the post office on Water St. in Kingsville between 5pm-10pm tonight.
Organizer Teanna Lindsay says, "we span over multiple parking lots in Walkerville, but everything is going to be in one location in Kingsville. We're going to have signs up all over, so people will just be able to follow the night market signs and arrows and balloons."
The new night market will feature 20 vendors, local beer and wine, as well as activities for kids, every second Friday of the month, ending in October.
Lindsay says this could just be the beginning of the night market expansion in Essex County, as she's been approached by other communities and is expecting to put on a few pop-up markets throughout the summer.
