Police Investigate Downtown Stabbing

Windsor police believe they know who is responsible after a woman was stabbed in downtown Windsor.
The victim has been taken to hospital following the incident on Ellis St. E just off Ouellette Ave. at around 2:50pm on Wednesday.
Police say the woman’s injuries are non-life threatening.
The suspect is still at large, but police say they have an idea who they’re looking for. The person is wanted for aggravated assault. Police haven’t provided a suspect description.
Anyone with information is asked to call police as officers continue to investigate.
