Getting To The Races

Transit Windsor is again offering transportation to and from the races and events on Belle Isle during the Detroit Grand Prix.

Ticket packages are now on sale, and with more than $4-million in improvements to the race track over the winter, Grand Prix General Manager Charles Burns says it's going to be an exciting weekend of racing. "We added one more race in the Stadium Super Truck series and we're going to have our concerts again, but overall what's new is the race track. The construction project, the racetrack is a world class racetrack, but paving that all the way around with concrete is going to make it even better for the fans. Great activity to watch."

The Detroit Grand Prix runs from May 29 to 31.
