Libraries Change After Lil' Secrett

When you walk into a Windsor Public Library branch, you might notice the furniture is in a different place.

CEO Kitty Pope says the board of directors had planned to improve sight lines in its ten branches, but the arrest of a 21-year-old woman who allegedly performed an online sex show prompted action sooner rather than later.

Alexandria Morra, allegedly known as Lil'Secrett, faces one count of an indecent act.

"It had been on our agenda for a while," says Pope. Asked if it was in response to the arrest, she responds "absolutely."

"We understand people come to the library to be able to do research and be quiet, but we want to weigh that with public safety. And so, making sure staff have good sight lines from the main work areas into the main library is really important."

The Bridgeview and Fountainbleu branches have undergone the change. Pope says the library is reviewing sight lines at the other branches over the next couple of weeks.
