Five teens have been arrested and $2,500 worth of drugs seized after police raided a LaSalle apartment.
Windsor police and LaSalle police executed a search warrant Wednesday just before 6pm in the 1900-block of Normandy St. in LaSalle.
Police seized 171.99 g of marijuana, 6.57 g of cocaine, cannabis resin and ecstasy pills. The five men, ages 18 and 19, face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
In a separate incident, Windsor police pulled over a vehicle later Wednesday evening at McDougall Ave. and Tecumseh Rd. E.
The Windsor Police Drug Enforcement Unit located the car after an investigation and seized $3,440 worth of cocaine and $3,390 in cash. Police arrested two men, ages 32 and 34, and charged them with possession of cocaine for trafficking.
All suspects in this case were released from custody on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
