Parts Manufacturers Handling Heavy Load

Local auto parts manufacturers are learning more about how to remain viable.
The Auto Parts Manufacturers Association held its regional conference at the Caboto Club in Windsor this week.
Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation CEO Sandra Pupatello says one issue local companies deal with is managing heavy volumes of parts. “Speakers that we have, like the one from Linamar for example, where our companies feed into — when we hear directly from them, we can see trends and we know how to better prepare our own companies for their future.”
Pupatello says the APMA conference is so important because it allows industry professionals to come together and brainstorm solutions to current problems.
