Employees of four separate Windsor companies have voted to in favour of a strike mandate.
Over the weekend, Local 444 Unifor members with TRW Automotive, HBPO Canada, Dakkota Integrated Systems and Oakley Sub-Assembly all voted over 90% in favour of strike action if it is required during their contract bargaining process.
The four meetings were held at the Local 444 Hall in Windsor.
The union says the bargaining committee will be doing what is necessary to ensure the interests of the members are protected.
