Express Can’t Quell The Storm

The Windsor Express lost a close 111-108 game against the Island Storm in overtime.
During the game Friday night, the Express trailed behind the Storm by five points at the end of the first quarter and then by six points at halftime. The Storm increased their lead again to 82-75 at the end of the third, but the Express were able to push back in the fourth to tie the game 102-102 and force overtime. Both teams were neck and neck until the Storm took a three point lead for the win.
Windsor’s Tony Bennett had a team high of 30 points. Quinnel Brown had 26 points and 12 rebounds, while Chris Commons had 12 points and ten rebounds.
The Express take on the Saint John Mill Rats on Saturday at 6pm.
