A crack in the chimney lining at a home in the 200-block of Gauthier Dr. in Tecumseh is being blamed for a fire Thursday night.
The crack allowed fire to travel into the wall. Damage is pegged at $10,000.
Firefighters responded to the scene around 8:30pm last night, a total of seven units responding, and knocked out the fire around 9:20pm.
No one was injured.
