Essex Edges Amherstburg In Shootout

The Essex 73’s managed to extend their winning streak to ten thanks to a 4-3 shootout win over the Amherstburg Admirals.
After a back and forth game, the Admirals’ Jordan Luciw scored short handed late in the third period to send it to overtime.
Scott Bromley scored the only goal of the shootout to give the 73’s the win.
Essex is back on the ice on Friday when they face Dresden. Amherstburg is off until Sunday when they host the Kings.
