Description Of Hit And Run Driver Out

Police have released the description of a suspect wanted for questioning after a hit and run accident at the corner of Elliott St. E and Dufferin Pl. in Windsor.

Police say it happened around 6:15am December 3. A woman says she was stopped at a stop sign when a white vehicle made a wide turn and hit her vehicle. The two drivers got out, and the woman asked the male driver to call the police. He pretended to, and then got back in his vehicle and suddenly drove away. The open driver side door struck her and knocked her to the ground.

Police say the vehicle was a small newer model white car with some damage to the front driver's side bumper. The suspect was a black man between 20 and 25 years old, 5'4" tall with short black hair. A female passenger in his vehicle was a white woman between 20 and 25 with black hair, wearing a longer puffy coat.
