The Positive Parenting Program at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare in Windsor is getting a $16,000 boost.
The money was raised through Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara's annual golf tournament.
Amy Renaud is a mother who took an eight-week program for 0-to-12-year-olds, and says Triple P has given her a lot more confidence in her parenting abilities. "They're really big on charting positive behavior, reenforcing positive behavior, and just being able to recognize the positive sides of things that your child does and focussing on those instead of the negatives."
Triple P serves about 900 Windsor-Essex families every year.
